Rosenberry Society

Join the next generation of philanthropic leaders!

Do you want to shape the future of Dane County? United Way of Dane County’s Rosenberry Society is made up of people like you: young professionals who are motivated to effect big change in the community. Our group jump-starts your professional and philanthropic careers by connecting you with peers and community leaders through social, educational and service activities throughout the year. The Rosenberry Society also provides resources to help you make giving a vital and growing part of your career and life.

Rosenberry Society members have helped build the philanthropic foundation for tomorrow. Last year, more than 1,000 members contributed more than $800,000 to United Way, making a difference in the lives of children, families and seniors throughout our community.

United Way of Dane County is proud to thank the Rosenberry Society for generously supporting our community through United Way. They not only improve the quality of life in Dane County today, they embrace the possibility of a better tomorrow.

Welcome from the Chair

Matt Karnick, Rosenberry Chair

I’m so proud of the Rosenberry Society and am honored to represent it in 2016! I’m proud for all that it offers. Whether it’s the mixers for the networking-thirsty (my personal favorite), CEO Roundtable events for those who crave knowledge, or volunteering opportunities for those who just want to give back, Rosenberry Society has it all. I’ve met so many great people at each of the events, and I’m excited to meet many more during the upcoming year.

With well over 1,000 members now, and multiple monthly events, we’re a well-oiled machine. However there’s always room for improvement, room to change and room to grow. In 2016 Rosenberry Society will continue to offer all of the previously mentioned mixer, Roundtable and volunteer events. In addition to those, my fellow Rosenberry Council members and I are also working on new ideas and opportunities to offer in 2016. So keep an eye out for some (subtle) changes.

Our monthly newsletter is best way to stay in-the-loop on what is happening and what is new with Rosenberry Society. I encourage you to read the newsletter and attend the events that are of interest to you. I also encourage you to spread the word to colleagues/friends to help us continue to grow. Finally, if you’re looking at ways to be more involved, consider becoming your organization’s Rosenberry Ambassador (that’s how I first got hooked).

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible this year.
